Red Velvet Smoothie Bowl

 

Man I sure do love BEETS! And this was so sweet, yummy and velvety.

 

Ingredients 1 serving

1/2 baked apple or 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce or 1 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen or fresh berries (I used fresh blueberries and strawberries)

1/2 cup Red Cabbage

1/4 cup roasted or raw beet (depends on your pallet)

1/2 cup dairy free milk of choice

1 scoop favorite Chocolate Protein

1/4 cup ice

 

Directions

Step 1: cook apple and beet in oven at 350 degrees for 30 mins. If you do not need this step head to step 2

Step 2: Place all ingredients in a blinder and blend until smooth

Step 3: Pour in bowl and top with favorite toppings. I used shaved chocolate from my favorite bar, coconut chips and Hemp seeds!
