Restaurant Style Salsa

Have you ever wanted a good salsa without all the sodium? This is a must and soooo good.



Two 10-ounce cans diced tomatoes (no salt added)

One 28-ounce can whole tomatoes with juice (no salt added)

1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves (or more to taste!)

1/4 cup chopped  green onion

1 clove garlic

1 whole jalapeno

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 tablespoon maple syrup

1/2 a lime, juiced


Step 1: Put all ingredients in a food processor, pulse until consistency that you like.

Step 2: set in refrigerator for 2 hours. The longer the better

Step 3: eat and enjoy on tacos, chips or potatoes!
