‘Nut Free’ Nutella

Next to mayo this might be the next thing you find me hiding in the corner eating. Oh wait, I did do that. The first batch of this that I made didn’t even make it in the fridge to store. I use to eat nut butters like they were going out of style. If there was a jar in the house it would only last 1 day. Sunflower seed butter has the same affect on me as well. Honestly this is a great alternative to any tasty chocolate spread.

 

Ingredients

1/2 cup tahini
2-3 teaspoons maple syrup, honey, or agave
2 tablespoons melted chocolate chips or favorite vegan chocolate

Directions

Step 1: Pour all ingredients in a glass jar or small container.

Step 2: Stir well until all is combined.

Step 3: Serve over sweet potato fries, ice-cream, fruit, toast or a just eat it like pudding!*

Note:
*Once you store this in the fridge it gets a hard so if you want it runny to drizzle use it as soon as you make it or put the desired amount in a microwave dish with 1 tsp of water and heat for 15 seconds at a time until it is the texture you would like.
