I woke up this morning wanting chocolate and berries and beets and just healthy foods. I haven’t eaten well in about a week and my stomach was yelling at me. And today I woke up with a sore throat and decided I need to start the day off right. After makibg straweberry coconut fudge pops (recipe coming soon) I wanted chocolate and beets, weird combination right? Wrong! You have to try it.
1 small beet or 1/2 large beet (peeled, cooked or raw)
1 cup raw spinach
1/2 dairy free milk
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon agave, maple syrup, or honey
Step 1: place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 2: pour in bowl and top with toppings.
