Mocha Overnight Oats 

I am on an oatmeal kick for breakfast these days. Overnight oats are easy to fix and nice to grab as you walk out the door. I normally make them the night before when I am packing school and work lunches for the family. This one was a good combo but…… yes but, I struggled with what fruit do you eat with coffee and chocolate. If you said “duh banana” you are right, but….. yes another but. I am allergic to bananas, instead I made a berry chia jam (recipe above this one).

Ingredients

1/2 Cup(s) Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup(s) milk
1/2 Tablespoon(s) cacao powder
1/2 shot warm espresso or 1 tsp instant coffee
1/16 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 Teaspoon(s) Cinnamon

Directions:

Step 1: Mix all ingredients in a jar. Place lit on tight and store in the fridge over night

Step 2: when ready to eat top with you favorite toppings.
